In the redesign of my portfolio I’ve learned that it can catch the eye of a designer and still look simple, user interface is key, make sure your page is simple enough for the older generations. Take everything one step at a time and try not to overwhelm yourself. If at any time something may frustrate you, taking a break is encouraged and if you are not sure of a design or the structure of your portfolio ask others what they think.
